So my story began a long time ago. Before the house & the kids & the wife, & all of the beauty that makes my life so rich (& also reasonably chaotic). I can’t recall exactly when I fell in love with creating & building, I imagine it must have been something so cliché as “it was just in my blood”.
I have been drawing, building, creating, and imagining since I can remember. I remember scouring the farmhouse I grew up in and the surrounding property for odd pieces of whatever I could find; wood, metal scraps, plastic tubing, bolts, etc, that could be used to assemble something useful or beautiful. But my real passion was born when I put a pencil to paper.
My wife and I are blessed with 3 hilarious, amazing, sensitive, inspiring children, therefore I am living life's grand quandary, my greatest inspiration turns out to be my greatest impediment.
As a wonderful artist once said to me, "I may have to learn to paint with a bigger brush"
And so it goes...I can't quit my day job yet, but someday soon, I know I will.
